Hey, good looking! My name is Leilani – I’m a twenty-something-old from Houston, TX defying odds and reaching goals.

I started Herpiphany in my junior year of college while I was a Resident Advisor.

During that time I learned so much about myself, how to build a community, and how to help others feel safe and accomplish their goals. It’s easy to say that some of my best college memories and friendships were created during that time.

I wanted to create a virtual place like the college dorm – a place of growth, a place where dreams and goals are met with drive and action, but also a place of warmth and creativity.

A place where women can help each other when solving problems, developing habits of self-care, thinking big, following their goals and dreams, and most importantly crossing their finish line to success – together.

Adulting is a lifetime journey, like happiness, health, and success.

Through this blog, I hope to also share my journey and life lessons with you. Especially since an epic journey is not something to be done alone. Katniss had Peta, Mulan had Mushu, Wonder Woman had the Justice League and now you have me.

A few extra things you might not know about me:  I’m a health-conscious Taurus who loves musicals, fandoms, dancing, and learn new things. My major is Biology with a bright future in Psychology.  I have a love for Roman history #JCLOVE. I am super competitive and love discovering new games to play.  I want to travel the world. I grew up as a Girl Scout selling cookies, riding horses, and backpacking.  Popcorn and S’mores are my favorite snacks and I promised to Discover, Connect, and Take-Action in order to make the world a better place. I intend to keep my promise.
